Suspect dies day after Hong Kong police used ‘appropriate force’ during arrest

Looking at the video, the force does appear to be 'appropriate'. Maybe the poking with the baton was unprofessional but the goal really does seem to be putting the guy in handcuffs while the guy was resisting arrest.

People really underestimate how much strength a person of unsound mind can put out and this guy is huge. Arrests like this will usually be chaotic. They were forceful as was required to arrest him but noone started blasting which would be inappropriate coz then you would be using lethal force on a person who didn't pose danger to anyone's life.

A drug user can die due to any number of reasons, not just overdose. All in all, this seems to be a clickbait piece meant to imply without actually imply police brutality.
