Iran’s coronavirus cases jump 50% three weeks after country reopens with 1,485 new cases over the last 24 hours

Exactly. Quarantining is the only proven method of reducing this pandemic's death toll

Our chances of contracting the virus haven't diminished. There's no vaccine. Assympotmatic carriers are still contagious. There's not enough PPE accessible to healthcare workers, let alone frontline service workers. And that's assuming people have been trained to use it properly. Countries like Spain, Iran, and Russia's healthcare services won't be able to handle another surge of infections, and poorly managed for-profit systems like the US will continue in their failure to stop the spread.

But we better send people back to work so they can contract amd spread the virus at a higher rate. Or else rich people may start feeling the economic strife the working class has experienced for months
