Seems like Josep Borrell is trying to blame China over an already divided EU. He's like the Trump of the EU in his approach. Guess he is following the trend of the day. Between the Greece crisis, Poland political issues, Italy's inexistent aid during the pandemic, immigration issues, rise in nationalism, anti-EU movement, anti-globalisation, rise in white supremacy movement, Spain budget issues, France lagging economy triggering yellow vest movement, Germany's economic recession in late 2019 and finally Brexit trying to stir the pot, it feels like the EU is more divided than ever. And now with a predicted 5% to 20% drop in GDP in the EU recession, he is just trying to find someone to blame for it.
