Honestly as a Brit I see this story as a national shame, we shouldn't have to pin our hopes on a quasi centennial war veteran to secure protective equipment or the basic supplies needed to feed our nurses and doctors, the government that has been slashing funding to hospitals and has made them hemorrhage beds over the past decade should be ashamed and held responsible for their senseless acts.

They should change course and award our health workers the wages and equipment they deserve.
